The most common C-section complication is that it’s done too late and the child is catastrophically injured because a cesarian section that is not done timely can cause a child to suffer oxygen deprivation, up to including starvation. That can cause catastrophic brain injuries, up to including death. There are also complications where a mother may get an unnecessary infection that would not have happened if appropriate infection protocols had been taken. The mother may end up losing her uterus when it should have been able to be saved. There are a lot of C-section complications, but far and away the most common is it is done too late to save the child. That is considered medical negligence.
