Both Baby Powder and Shower-to-Shower are advertised for feminine hygiene and utilize talc.  Baby Powder was first sold on the U.S. market as early as 1894, and both products have been popular for decades.

Unlike drugs, cosmetic products do not require any regulatory approval or safety assessment (by the FDA or other agencies) before they go on the market.
