You can sue a hospital for wrongful death in Florida if you have an expert review who gives you an affidavit that says that more likely than not the hospital’s personnel that they caused or substantially contributed to causing the negligence by providing care that was below the acceptable standard of care for that health care provider. So, anyone for whom the hospital is responsible, if they are negligent and that negligence causes a death, the hospital is responsible for that death.
