The length of time it takes to bring a wrongful death case to conclusion varies for a lot of reasons: the complexity of the case, who the judges are, the venue. One of the things we’re most proud of at our law firm is that we bring those cases to conclusion as expeditiously as possible without compromising the ability to provide the maximum amount of compensation to the family of the loved one. Some wrongful death cases can move through the system pretty quickly; some take longer. I mean, the defendants have the ability to appeal if you ultimately go to trial, or some judges order sometimes. So it’s difficult to predict how long a wrongful death case in Florida can take. But one of the things that we really try hard at, and I know that we’re very successful in doing, is bringing them to resolution as expeditiously as possible.
